My dad died this morning. In a car crash.

I will be going home for a few days. Mom seems to be okay so far. I don't know how she'll hold up, but I recently learned she's much stronger than I'd ever suspected, so I think she'll be okay. He was my stepdad, but he was the only father I ever knew. He... fucked up pretty badly on some important levels, but I still love him.

I don't think I like September anymore.

I'm going to be in Baltimore in just a few days. I dunno if I'll be able to meet up, if that will even be possble. But if it can, I'd love to hang out, if you're up for it. A friendly face at that point will rock, and just getting my mind off of stuff will probably be in order.

That kitty makes me want to curl up with it and go to sleep. Right about now, I wish I had a kitty. My eyes are already teary, I wouldn't even mind the allergies. Miss Gimp, my most caring cat, used to come stick her nose all over my face when I was upset. And if I was crying too loudly, she'd come smack me in the mouth. No lie.

I have to work from 3 - 7. Yeah, I'm going, might as well. If you want to stop by, that would be awesome. And thank you for being such a consistent and lovly friend.
