TivoApp - rips video from the TiVo to your computer
ty_studio - rip and minorly modify/encode video from the Tivo
 
using this software you can rip, edit out commercials, and create DVD-ready mpegs of your fave shows/movies. WIth your own software, you can burn them to SVCD or DVD.
