xianeTiVo - Philips HDR312 series 1

Upgrades:
two hard drive upgrades totalling 63 hours of record time. (more than double the original unit)
network card upgrade (installed internal network card and drivers) connect TiVo to your network and get updates quickly.
Installed software: Ftp server, Apache-based HTTP server, Telnet server, and a slew of minor helper programs.
also bundled software "A La Stu":
TMPGEnc - mpeg encoding/re-encoding software.
TivoApp - rips video from the TiVo to your computer
ty_studio - rip and minorly modify/encode video from the Tivo
using this software you can rip, edit out commercials, and create DVD-ready mpegs of your fave shows/movies. WIth your own software, you can burn them to SVCD or DVD.
