5 February 2004 23:35Well... we [
krasota and I] took
briskpepper to the doctor today.
Mono.
-and-
Strep Throat.
So... well, shit. If you've not had mono, and you're sensitive to viral infection type things... stay away from my house for a bit.
Poor, poor Stu. :(
Oh, and in other news - coffee, Friday, 6p, Starbucks. Be there!

2004-02-06 06:07 (UTC)Any reason you can't make it Mudhouse instead? I miss being able to wander out of work and see cool people on the Mall! Plus, I can always duck out of work for a while, but I don't know that I can actually finish up and leave by 6. Not that this is your problem.
I hope
Re:
2004-02-06 07:50 (UTC)there's also one in the plaza right beside shopper's world (next to radio shack) on 29. And there's a franchise location inside B&N (but we don't likeses that one, precious). and there's a counter in the mall (open area in the middle, right near the beanery). i'm probably forgetting another, but perhaps not...
for someone who doesn't particularly care for coffee, i know a lot about this town's coffeeshops. this scares me. it must stop.

2004-02-06 21:25 (UTC)Not a coffe drinker? Heretic! I hope you at least drink tea! I have a tin of Twining's in my desk drawer that is, along with net access, my sanity-saver at work. To the limited extent I do stay sane, anyway.
You folks should let me know when you're going to Mudhouse sometime. And wear that hat - I'll bring the cats.
Re:
2004-02-06 21:40 (UTC)I drink a hella lotta tea. I love tea. Tea tea tea tea. In fact, I like my tea so much that when I go to Starbucks and want chai, I don't order their version--I pick up a chai teabag and pay for that (and the cup of hot water to go with it--with an inch of room at the top) and sweeten/cream it to my liking. At home, I make my chai masala from scratch. I am an unrepentant tea snob.
I'm also a kitty dope dealer.

2004-02-06 21:24 (UTC)We don't do Mudhouse because it's too freakin' small for us, and the Chai at Starbucks is better. [I'm told] We might all be at Christian's after the coffee meet - call my cell if you can try to meet up with us afterwards. 434 242 0828.

2004-02-06 07:13 (UTC)boy has had mono. he'd probably be up for playing video games with stu on saturday or some other time, if stu would like that.
his wooziness issues this week were blood sugar issues, btw.
i'll make sure i irrigate my sinuses tonight (i stopped taking my night-time pseudoephedrine, so my sinuses are angry) so that i don't incubate any stu-germs. ;)
britney's on MTV. you know you want to watch.

Mono SUCKS. Brian and I had it last fall, and it's still coming back occasionally to kick my ass.
