Last night:
djsolaries rocked the house with her selection of tunes. Oh yeah. I had a fuckin' awesome time spinning with her. It was really good to hang out with
pragma_x too. There were waaaaaay too many people there to mention here, but I was really happy to see everyone. Even though it was so crowded that it took like 5 minutes to get from the DJ booth to the front door. O_o
Bella Morte of course kicked ass. Andy complained [on stage, so of course in front of everyone] that my tits didn't glow. I hung out behind the bar for a while with
krues8dr - who was bartending while Tony was on stage - and Vim, and we sang along with "Where Shadows Lie". It was very nostalgic in a weird sort of way.
There were many people...
mbickers squee'd when I spun the Invader Zim remix... I managed to play the fruitiest song ever [the 8 minute version of "Crucified" by Army Of Lovers] and still keep people on the floor... and then I came home.
There's no hot water.
There's no heat.
There is, however, about three feet of water in my basement.
The snow just keeps hanging on. As water, of course, but it's still here.
And now, I'm off to try and heat water for a fancy sink bath :(

2003-02-23 12:06 (UTC)I got all crafty with hot water from the stovetop, though. I'm not shower-fresh, but I'll pass inspection ;)
The gas guy [which Tank & gf called, thinking that the gas had gone out, not that we were currently hosting Lake Belmont in our basement] said that it should go down in a few days. Or a week. eep.

2003-02-23 18:23 (UTC)I think you need the aid of my slumberjack sleeping bag for the next time (crosses fingers and knocks on head) this heat crap happens. It's a mummy sac, so if opened, it would force you and Stu to sleep extra cuddly, but you'll be warm even if the weather hits 15 below. If you want, I''ll bring it with me next week.
Oh and I'm glad that next week is Jade's B Day celebration....I'd like to meet the girl who was born with what is confused my chosen name (mine has different meaning and origin).
