xianeWell now. Long long week, long weekend, long. Yeah.
I still feel crappy. I was doing better, but then the inevitable smoky club goo got in my lungs, and now I'm back a few steps from where I was. All will be well eventually, though. Had a pretty good day yesterday - worked at Coyote all day, which was actually pretty fun - BUSY! I'm glad to see us doing so well. We're such a little shop, you know. Got off work, went with Henofer to NRN to grab a copy of that Evanesence single... he'd heard it and had been obsessed, and I knew we had an extra copy of it I could give him. Then we came back to the house, and I got ready to DJ - and Stu got ready to be drunk. He and Jarret managed to down a whole bottle of Goldschlager *before* we left, and by the end of the night, another $35 in discounted drinks was added to the total. Heh. Drunken boy, drunken boy. We managed to get to The Rose and I set up the DJ equip, and showed Anath3ma, our guest DJ from VA Beach, the ropes of our low-tech setup. We got started and the madness began.

unnerving, daq42, blackradish, simplistik, and endangeredhuman - Team Richmond in the house! Also was pleased to help mbickers with a clothing emergency, simply by liberal application of duct tape. Yay! I was a happy happy girl to see people I haven't seen in quite a while [Team Richmond] - I miss you guys. I wish I had a way to get down there and hang out :(
DJed, and that was okay. I was feeling bit crap near the end of the night, and my sets suffered. *shrug* what can you do?
I'll post playlist and more later. I have to go get ready for the radio show.
