Yes, it is official. I am getting *very* ill. Blah. My throat has that pre-sore soreness. I feel tired, hot/cold, and overall... wiped. I knew I couldn't make it to Xmas without some sort of cold or flu.

Didn't have to work today. Didn't use the time as well as I would have liked, either. I think it was the beginning stages, sapping me.. I wanted to do things, but I just didn't have the gumption, you know. I did d/l a few more things onto the laptop, so the day wasn't a total waste. Stu came home, and I made a high-class dinner of mac'n'cheese with tomatoes and jalapenos added, green bean casserole, and bannock bread. Despite feeling cold-y, I managed to be hungry.

Managed to take the really long ethernet cable that Tom was just going to throw away... I connected it to the hub, and now I can sit in my living/bedroom, on my futon, and type and be online and whatnot. And I'm not freezing! I have the covers pulled all around me, cozy-like, and I don't have to wear my fingerless gloves to keep my fingers from frostbite. I'm only exaggerating a wee bit here - it is really cold in the comupter room!

I need someone to come and bring me hot chocolate. And maybe tuck me in. I think I'm getting loopy. Eeek.

how much do you need the view out the window in the computer room right now?

put foil over the glass (don't tape it to the glass, the condensation/cold will ruin the adhesive, tape to the sills/walls). then hang a blanket over that. put blankets on the walls. i could come help.

another option would be a cheap package of window-insulation film from wal-mart or k-mart. i could take you for a ride when you're feeling up to it.

Thanks, sweetie. I plan to get a wee space heater.. the worst problem in the room is the tile floors. I can't really aford to cover the window all the time, because I need the natural light to use the webcam for ebay posts. But I am going to rig a curtain. Once I feel better, that is.
