Here I am, sniffing one of my favourite herbs. So wonderful!

This plant is a holdover from last season, still going strong, although a little scraggly.

Friends of mine moved to Tennessee this past February... but in their back yard the night of their going away party, they had this HUGE Rosemary bush. I swear I pruned that thing. The herb right now is in my freezer. Sometimes I just pull out a sprig to sniff it. I LOVE me some fresh Rosemary.

We have rosemary that is year round. It has wintered over with no ill effects for four years now.

AH, I love the smell of fresh rosemary too! My aunt who lives in Vegas used to have big BUSHES of rosemary in her backyard. They grew like weeds, so you can imagine her yard always smelled good! She'd always send me home with large gallon sized bags of it to bring home, and I, too, would put it in the freezer as well. Now that I actually have a backyard, I'm thinking of seeing if I can start my own rosemary bush soon! :-)
