Time to take REQUESTS!

For those who are somehow living under a rock and haven't heard, I will be SPINNING AT cville_umlaut - That is, CLUB UMLAUT @ R2 IN CHARLOTTESVILLE VA - ON HALLOWEEN. It is my "retirement" gig. That means that if YOU can show up, I would be THRILLED!

This means that I want this night to be as awesome as I can make it, which means I am turning to YOU to ask - what do YOU want to hear ME spin on HALLOWEEN? [I like caps lock wheee!]

If it is SPOOKY and AWESOME and I have it or can manage to get it by Tuesday, I WILL SPIN IT. Make your requests in a reply to this. I'll start packing my DJ box tonight. I leave on Wednesday night for Baltimore [my first stop on the trip] so after that you're SOL.

I'll make a post separate to this with my rough travel-and-appearance schedule :)

Coming in Thursday morning and leaving Sunday afternoonish. I should be making an appearance at Ascension, to support Earl's DJing and say hi to some folk. I'll also be getting coffee, etc and I'll post about it, blah blah. Definitely would love to see youuuu

I'm going to try to make it out to see Earl, but I'm supposed to be DJing on Saturday night at the Hellbilly Hoedown and I've honestly been burning the candle at both ends the past month or so and it's starting to wear me down. Ended up sleeping nearly all this past weekend. Do you know what time Earl's set is? If nothing else, I should be able to come out hella early and stay for an hour or two. Oh lord, whatever will I wear!

Well in that case, Peter Murphy's "Blinded like Saul" and if you have Invisible Ballet's "Autumn and Earth," that would be equally cool.

But like I said, let the dancers sway you more than I. Worst case, I spin 'em next month ;).

Looking forward to seeing you too. Morgan will be there too, and I'm actually gonna dress up for the first time since I dressed up as Chad. Oughtta be a blast!
