Firstly. Happiest of birthdays to my wonderful, beautiful friend Kristyne. You've been there for me so many times, and I love you like crazy. I can't wait to see you in a week or so!



Still feeling a bit off. I was okay for most of the day, once I woke up, but I think I didn't eat enough today and now I'm feeling crappy again. Stupid stomach.
After I woke up and got myself more together than I was last night - and thank you, everyone, for the well-wishes! - I met up with christamor and her Little Man at Broad River Coffee. She wanted me to help her set up Paypal for her etsy account, so we had coffee and I ate a blueberry muffin. [pee ess to mmymoon - what's the scale for your dolls' stuff, if you know? Like the bath stuff and foods and things that you use in your vignettes? Christamor is *really* good at making miniatures and I think she could make some excellent things for collectible dolls if she had the proportions.]
The plan was that inefficiency and I were going to stop by the Witches' Brew Cafe tonight. Sadly, tonight was their last night in the current location, as their lease "ran out" and was not renewed. Who's surprised by that? ._. The bad thing was that some crazy-ass "hardcore" bands were playing there, so after Rob and I got dinner at Court Street Grille, we popped in, braved the mosh pit to get our mochas, hugged Kym and gave her a Prosperity tincture as a gift, and hightailed it out of there. I didn't even get to hang out. But at least I showed up.

Came home, puttered around, made some new tinctures - lavender, frankincense and myrrh, patchouly and psychic awareness [which is star anise, clove, nutmeg and mace] - I also put some of those tinctures [photos tomorrow] and the dream pillows up on my website, too. [hint, hint!]
Now I need to try to do something about this stomach ache, and get some sleep. Ugh.

Eee! Miniatures = LOVE!

My dolls and scenes are generally 1:6th scale (or 1/6th / playscale), although due to the fact that my creatures are all varied in height, I tend to fudge the scale often. (I use a lot of 1:12th / dollhouse / 1" scale stuff.)

My witchy girl there, Celia, is 11"/30cm, or about as tall as a Barbie, but they're all varied... 27cm, 23cm, 6", 27cm + giant head... and it depends on if you count antennae or tenacles...

Her name is, of course, Chrys. Mwahaha! She reminded me of both you and carnaval_noir, although neither of you wear vinyl, I know. I need to make some little band tee shirts with the necks cut out for her... ;)

Awesome! I'll make sure that Christamor knows what scale to look for - I'll just point her here. She's really good at miniature making, and I knew she'd be able to come up with cute things for discerning doll collectors :D

Chrys is sooooooooooooooooooooo cute. I wish my hair got that big! And I love Witch Celia's little room and all her swag!
