RADIO XIANE is live on Live365!

This is the streaming radio part; podcasts and live shows are scheduled to start up after Memorial Day. I've got a *lot* more music to upload, but there's a wee bit more than five hours up for your enjoyment. I haven't even started ripping CD tracks - this is ALL stuff I had on my main computer, and I barely even scraped the surface there.

Just so you guys know, the stream's set for FM quality/32kbps, which means that most people should be able to manage a stream of it. Let me know if the quality's too shitty to be tolerated. I want the station to be available to everyone, but if the people I'm trying to accomodate will just be d/ling podcasts anyway, I might up the quality.

Please let me know what you think, what I should add [bear in mind I'm in NO way done with the selection, I just wanted it to go up tonight!], what songs you hate, etc.

did setting up the station cost you anything? what about upkeep?

The cost per year for this tier of broadcasting is about $200. I'm doing the twice-yearly pay option, second one down [starts at 14.95/mo], as noted here: https://store.live365.com/orders/orderform.live
I have a limited amount of space for tracks, but I can also do live broadcasts when I have the equipment up.
Upkeep is as simple or complicated as I wish. I can just let it run forever on the tracks I've uploaded, or change them out as much as I like. I'll probably change the streaming list monthly or biweekly, depending on how lame I get about it. ;)
