Bauhaus show was great [tho' I do have some critiques or at least observations]; NYC was excellent, company there was awesome although lacking in the amount of interaction I would have liked to have had with some people... More to come tomorrow after I wake up and become human again.

ps - [livejournal.com profile] dratomic, I totally didn't get your comment until tonight. :(
However, there's some noise about Mom and I going back up before Xmoose, and I'll put your number in my phone for possible future use.
I wish I'd been able to hang out. :/

Now: SLEEP!

Peter Murphy seemed sleepy or sick or something this time around. Maybe he was actually sick, as he obviously cut the 2nd encore short (as he actually shouted at the soundguy to end everything after 'Double Dare'.. I bet you anything that Bela was the next scheduled song).

He was a LOT more lively during the Bauhaus resurrection tour in 98... and talkative.

Bela was the song they opened with earlier in the tour. Why would they change the setlist that much?

I guess they did it to keep from being really bored from playing night after night. Though, I think that, in this case, Peter Murphy obviously wasn't feeling very well.

"Bela" isn't one of my favourites, so I didn't mind. I was pretty pleased with the songs they chose, I just wish that Peter had felt better.

I was pretty happy with the show (though I did think that Peter didn't seem to have much enthusiasm) and they played all the songs I really wanted to hear. I love how seeing some songs performed live gives me a new appreciation for them too. As for Bela, it would have been good to see it performed live, but it's not one of my favorites of theirs, so I wasn't really upset.

I do wish I'd gotten to hang out with you more though.

I've decided that my biggest downfall with these events is having too many people involved. We should arrange for Bauhaus to come play for just us. That way there wouldn't be these issues of not enough time ;)

Hey! Come back to NYC so we can play. This time, Anathema Device won't be in C'ville.

Mom's talking about maybe coming up for a Xmoose show at Radio City Music Hall. That could yield some hanging-outing time.

Never fails, when I'm in NYC almost always my friends who live there are out of town ;)
