6 August 2002 01:42My life hasn't been rather noteworthy these past few days. Blah.
The Dawning was one of the more memorable and fun events in the history of the club [at least since I took over the custody of it]... Logic Of Decay rocked everyone's socks, and AudioRapture managed to get the whole place moving to the beat. Lots of good friends were there [Team Richmond, yeah!
nothingoth, yeah! Team Cville, awww yeah.] Afterwards we all went to IHop, for the usual neglect from the waitstaff and bad coffee. I didn't go to bed until after 5 am. Managed to get enough sleep for once, then met up with a good chunk of Terminal Ready for "brunch" at The Guad... they went to band practice afterwards, and I went home and prepared for SubShock, which was more excellent than usual, as well. I guess it was a pretty good weekend, in retrospect.
Today was an industrious day - I had eBay winnings to pack up for shipping, and feedback to leave; Modern Rock cds to review; PayPal issues to resolve; and new CDs from lots of bands to listen through and write reviews on for xiane.org - oh, and if any of YOU want to write CD reviews, or book reviews for that matter... please let me know. I'll be putting them up on a pretty regular basis on xiane.org. I am considering starting up the paper version of the zine again, too...perhaps I am insane. I'm not sure yet.
No, I certainly don't have enough projects to occupy me. Oh,no.
Tomorrow I'm at Coyote until 3 - if you want me, come find me there! Whee!

2002-08-06 06:48 (UTC)I'm surprised that Perkigoth is still up! I know tht she was pulling her streams one by one because the RIAA rulings were fucking her streams at Live365 over. My band is/was on her streams.

2002-08-06 15:58 (UTC)I don't know how much you could do to fix the stream as I'm using NT here, which is always the bane of anything not specifically designed for it. It would connect, but not buffer the stream, just sit there. To me it looked like all the codecs were proper and everything. So I was mystified for about five minutes.
