I wanted something frivolous. A fluffy goth dress that I know I won't wear all that often, but would make me feel like my entire wardrobe isn't filled with scruffy skirts and band tees.
But I didn't want to spend the money on it. I didn't feel I deserved it.

inefficiency, however, felt differently.

I am loved. I am treasured. I feel so lucky.

It was the least I could do for my love. What was difficult was not deciding to buy the dress, but having the will to keep quiet when you came to the firm decision that you didn't think you deserved it, after I'd already bought it. That, and trying to keep you away from the page that would so easily reveal that I'd bought it myself. =D
