Hello everyone:
I am seeking NY/New England goth, electro, shoegazer, and new
wave style bands for a Benefit concert to be held in October.
All of the money, sans your album sales at your merch table, will go to these very important, and life saving websites/organisations.

the net for spouses, friends, and family members of people suffering from
Borderline Personality Disorder.

Awareness Network)

A
collection of resources and links for people who have someone with Borderline
Personality Disorder in their life.

I was in a physically, and mentally abusive relationship for three and a half years. If it were not for these sites, I would not have known what was going on with my ex-common law husband, and I might not have gotten out. (I still care about him very much, but I am no longer in contact with him, due to his illness.

These sites save lives, and educate people about BPD.
Please join me in helping to keep these sites online, they are immensely important. I want us to help others to understand Borderline Personality Disorder, and how to stay strong, and stay safe when you are in a relationship with a BPD person.

I've been asked to DJ at this event, as I too have experience with these issues from a past relationship and believe strongly in this cause Jenn has taken up. I would be thrilled to see some of my friends also get involved. I don't have details yet, but you can contact Jenn or myself - and I'll forward over the info - and find out more that way. do you know exactly where this event will be taking place?

i feel shitty saying this, but only if it makes sense, money wise, for us to get there and back without a garauntee, then i'm sure i could talk the other In Tenebrats into doing it. if it doesn't work out that way, i'd still love to help out in any way that i could.

If you need help with travel costs I'll help if I can. I'm pretty sure that won't be a problem, as I'll need to get up there, too. I also have the Jeeple, which can hold some stuff or people.

Let me ask her what details she has. I would REALLY love to get you guys in on this - good for everyone, and I think your music would be so perfect for this.

I don't have any musical talent to lend to the event, but I can definitely spread the word as much as I can. I'll put together a flyer and get it on our office bulletin board...should be able to drum up a bit of support that way.

It was good to finally meet you in person. Hopefully I'll get a chance to chat with you some more the next time you find yourself back in the 'ville.
