Well... elation mixed with frustration today.

Got a letter from Payback today! *bounce bounce bounce*
He's miserable but that's to be expected... but he seemed happy that I wrote, and he's trying to hang in there. I miss him terribly.

I'm worried about my job. I might not have one by the end of the summer.
Spookybat got "laid off for the summer" yesterday, and that means that maybe she'll be back, maybe not. Erk.

Dying my hair = good. Going to Peter Murphy = good. Having to get tix for Peter Murphy = bad. Getting to meet Peter Murphy and sit in on interview = VERY good. Missing Liam = bad. Having such an excellent friend = priceless. Feeling like I've acquired a new, wonderful friend to add to my short list of them = incredible. Being tired all the time = bad. Earning it honestly = okay, I guess.

Blerk. Bloog. Blaugh.

Exclusive to Metropolis Records (http://industrial-music.com/product.php?prodnum=MET+238)... the album is Dust, and it is distincly Middle Eastern in flavour, with a strong Muslim influence. All the tracks are very long and mezmerizing - imagine St Peter doing his patented thing with a muzzein calling the faithful to Mecca in the background, and you've got it. I loved it, but the release is definitely a late-hours sort of thing, and will probably not sit well with some of the fans more accustomed to the sound of Deep or Cascade.
