It makes me sad when people don't understand that their smoke keeps me out of clubs for more than once a week, generally. Smoky clubs make me literally sick, with a worse hangover than I generally get from drinking.
Making me feel guity about it just makes me even sadder.

That's why I've gnerally only been attending The Dawning - because I have to suck it up at least once a week, to run the club - trust me, I've *wanted* to come out more.
Please, don't try and make me feel bad about it. I already feel sad enough. It isn't that I don't love you.
... Even if you are one of the smokers that are slowly killing me with your bad habit.

i do so much laundry and take so many showers just to get the smoke out of my clothes and hair. not to mention that this bronchitis situation...so not improving.

Except for that "I'm older than almost all my friends" thing. Eeep. Ah, hell, I refuse to die.

I wish there was a way for all my smoking friends to do their thing AND my lungs to remain healthy. Actually, it's my sinuses that freak out... I suspect that I'm developing allergies to smoke in my old age :(

I'm a little freaking scared because I developed allergies along with you guys -- and I'm like, a decade+ younger. I can't fwiggin drink and already the smoke makes me sick. Maybe it was our crappy crappy moldy living situations? You infected me with ALLERGIES! XD

Although I hear the adult onset allergies have tripled in the last couple of years, so it's just SOMETHING. *sighs* I wisssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh this were a smoke-free state.

oh yeah, i know the feeling. allergic to smoke and still go clubbin. but i can say this, at least the new location of the dawning is better when it comes to smoke then the old one. well, at least to me, i think its less smokey. damn smokers.

speaking as an ex-smoker who has weekly cravings... I love the smell of tobacco, burning or otherwise. Much in the same way I love the taste of a good martini and the foamy texture of beer.

But yes, I totaly see your point. Clubs should have smoking lounges like some have beer gardens.

Yeah and working in a restaurant is even worse : ( People are always like "Well you make the choice to work somewhere that people smoke." I think that's kind of ignorant. I rarely have, but I've stopped smoking anything at all because I just can't stand it. It's stupid and always makes me feel shitty anyways. When I had to get my tonsils removed I got a note from my doctor so that I didn't have to work in the smoking section. I wish I lived somewhere that people couldn't smoke in the restaurant though. It sucks to think that an implied part of your job is accepting the idea that you're going to have to breath in something that's harmful to your health every day.

I hope it wasn't me yelling at your window that got you upset.

Sorry I'm a dumb smoker. It's one of my most fashionable accessories though, and it's sooooo good for me to smoke... I'm angry enough as it is. Take away my smoking... not good.
