2 November 2004 03:47It makes me sad when people don't understand that their smoke keeps me out of clubs for more than once a week, generally. Smoky clubs make me literally sick, with a worse hangover than I generally get from drinking.
Making me feel guity about it just makes me even sadder.
That's why I've gnerally only been attending The Dawning - because I have to suck it up at least once a week, to run the club - trust me, I've *wanted* to come out more.
Please, don't try and make me feel bad about it. I already feel sad enough. It isn't that I don't love you.
... Even if you are one of the smokers that are slowly killing me with your bad habit.

2004-11-02 09:57 (UTC)I wish there was a way for all my smoking friends to do their thing AND my lungs to remain healthy. Actually, it's my sinuses that freak out... I suspect that I'm developing allergies to smoke in my old age :(

2004-11-02 10:23 (UTC)You're going to live forever, with your slim and trim healthy-type ways. Hush, woman.
I'm a little freaking scared because I developed allergies along with you guys -- and I'm like, a decade+ younger. I can't fwiggin drink and already the smoke makes me sick. Maybe it was our crappy crappy moldy living situations? You infected me with ALLERGIES! XD
Although I hear the adult onset allergies have tripled in the last couple of years, so it's just SOMETHING. *sighs* I wisssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh this were a smoke-free state.

2004-11-02 10:32 (UTC)Gas masks, earplugs, and insoles, and then we're ready to go clubbing...
*sob*
I'm too young to be this lame. At least you've got some piercings and ink to make up for your lack of smoking and drinking and drugs, but I've got nothing! Nothing but the funky disco beat!
But I tells ya, SOMEBODY paid attention to those campaigns by the American Lung Association! You should too, kids! JUST SAY NO TO CARCINOGENS AND BEING REALLY, REALLY STINKY. Do it for your alveole!

2004-11-02 10:35 (UTC)I really wish people would stop smoking. If not for themselves, then for their loved ones. Their smoking is one of the reasons so many people have asthma these days.

2004-11-02 14:24 (UTC)But yes, I totaly see your point. Clubs should have smoking lounges like some have beer gardens.

2004-11-03 07:11 (UTC)I hope it wasn't me yelling at your window that got you upset.
2004-11-03 22:06 (UTC)Sorry I'm a dumb smoker. It's one of my most fashionable accessories though, and it's sooooo good for me to smoke... I'm angry enough as it is. Take away my smoking... not good.
