Anyone interested in an almost complete set of original Sandman comics, many but not all in sleeves? I've been carrying them around sincethey first came out; I love them, but damn. Too much weight. Too delicate. And I have the graphic novels, you know. I have no idea what a fair offer is; express some interest and I'll pitch some numbers out there. Preferably someone local, though if you REALLY wanna pay for exorbitant shipping, I'll work out something.

The hearse is for sale. [livejournal.com profile] fiendmorte has expressed interest, but if you've got cash in hand, I'll *have* to go for first offer. Email me for details. Dana, pllleeeeasse let me know if you want it/CAN buy it, ASAP. I'd love to keep it in the family, so to speak.

A metric ton of Science Fiction/Fanatasy books are available at my house. Contact me to come over and shop the shelves.

More to come.

they're the original issues, straight from 1989 - 1993.

from a previous entry:
Okay, here be the deal. I do NOT have the entire set. I DID. It seems that somewhere along the way, I've been left with:
1 - 47, minus 21, 23, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32. The series went to 75. I also have Super Special #1, with the glow-in-the-dark cover, and Vertigo Special #1, plus The Cost Of High Living #1. Still interested? They're all in REALLY good condition.

I do have a potential buyer, but I'm not sure if said buyer will not be interested upon discovering that I don't have as many of them as I used to. If you're interested, let me know!

If neither of your buyers finalize the deal, I am most definitely interested. ;)

It would never make it to where you are, unfortunately ;)

I love it sooo much, even though I've never gotten to drive it. It needs work. I still love it, tho.

Any Mercedes Lackey/Tanya Huff in those books? I'd figure out a way to get 'em, if you have certain ones.

Would you like me to post a message to the UVa Psi Phi club's mailing list about your sci-fi/fantasy book sale? I dunno how many takers you'd get, but I would guess that many of the UVa students that might be interested in buying such books would be on that mailing list.

If you're interested, email me (carnahan at virginia dot edu) a blurb with however you'd like to describe the books and however you would like potential customers to contact you...

I'm _definately_ interested in the Sandman Comics. Let me know how much you'd be interested in getting or what else others have offered. :oP

I'd also like to peruse your collection of psi phi and fantasy.

Let me know when's a good time to come by and i'll see if I can bribe Katrina.

It's a great car, but not in any way road-ready yet. You'd have to tow it, and that would be soooo expensive. It needs tired, a battery, and defintely a complete replacement of all hoses and belts. It's a labour of love sort of vehicle, which is why I haven't been driving it yet, because love = $$ in this circumstance ;)

If you're still interested, let me know. I can list all known issues!

AH... well I was seeing the eyes of a college lass lighting up...but...she's not ready to invest her time and non-existant money into that sort of a labor... :( I wish you luck in finding someone who can really get into it and get it up and running! :)

You're not selling any of your de lint, are you? Because if you're thinking about it, I will personally make an *extra* trip to Baltimore to make sure you get to keep them.

2004-10-16 05:11 (UTC)
by [identity profile] xiane.livejournal.com
No deLint and absolutely no Charles Vess illustrated comics wil lbe leaving my hands. Well.. I might sell some of the more traditional fantasy oriented deLint books...
I have a pretty good selection of fantasy, to sell, tho.

I just *need* to lighten up. And there's a million tasty SciFi books at Mom's house to re-read, ooo.

Looks like they sold :/

But I have more comics! I just listed 'em! There are some *really* good ones, too!

If there is anything you want to keep but just can't handle taking with you to B'more in one trip, not just for money, let me know, I'd rather you get to keep all your cool stuff. We can store it here...

*heart*

i wish i could have a chance to hang out with you, like another one of those "girls nights" that we had at that wings joint like four years ago. anyway...how much for the hearse?

$600; and buyer pays for towing. It's not currently running; see above explanation why. It's got a HUGE engine, totally worth the price alone.

You're so far away, over there. It's so weird.
