Grey skies, no rain.
14 June 2004 10:15I have good friends. Thank you guys for being here for me. I'm going to try and work on being better, too.
Life's a weird thing. Attitude can make or break you, sometimes.
The Dawning was really great this weekend. The bands were all awesome, even if I totally didn't get to see In Tenebris this time... Terminal Ready kicked all the asses. Two guitars = mad rock.
Downstairs, Jinxed and I made the people dance, especially between bands.
Didn't go to Rasputina last night. Did SubShock instead.
No more time. More later.

Mrrf. I didn't see Rasputina, either. Wanted to badly, as EVERY PERSON on my friends list for the past two months has been posting about going to the tour. ;9

2004-06-15 16:19 (UTC)I miss you! Can't wait until I come back. I not only need dancing goodness but also to have Chris to talk to. I haven't had the chance to do much of the sit down and hang out talking and such and i'd like to do that next school year. So, here's to that.
>.< I can't get Subshock b/c the WNRN site uses Windows Media Player and I have a Mac. I can't think of any way i'd be able to listen to your show now because only my computer has Internet, not my parents' XP.
Oh, and, for the mean time, i've found Purgatorio in Arlington. I'm gonna try to go there as many weeks as I can. Curious though, do you know anything about them? Is it a good dance night? I was immediately attracted by the information that they don't serve liquor but only beer. And, even better, it's in the suburbs. If only I could find a club with no smoking...

2004-06-16 06:50 (UTC)Purgie's run by a friend of mine, and has good DJs. It's got a comfy atmosphere, from what I'm told. As I never seem to be able to make it there, I don't have first-hand recommends. I'm going to have to get the report from you!
Hang in there. When I get the hearse moving... visits!
