briskpepper for day two of new job... I went back to sleep, of course after that. Managed to get back up on time and take a shower, using the *lovely* shower gel I bought from GothRosary.com - the 'Nocturnal" scent, and krasota will be pleased to note that it is subtle and non-sneezy. Yum! I recommend it HIGHLY.
Noted that the weather was gross, so I made sure to actually blow-dry my hair after the shower, which resulted in a super-poof hairdo of doom. The slushy crap falling from the sky insured that I got to break in my tiny purple girlie umbrella that I purchased whenkrasota, melodiousdrone and nothingoth and attacked the Super Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. It is horribly cute and actually effective!
Waited for the bus for a ridiculously long time before it showed up to whisk me away to the glamourous Corner [uhhh...], where Coyote is located. A fake coffee and crap free weekly later, I was ensconced behind the counter, bored off my ass for the next four hours.
Whee.
After a long and informative talk with my boss Jimmy about self-incorporation, I got the hell outta Dodge. [By the way, I learned tons today about how to go about all this, and all I have to say is, "Thank the Gods for the Eentornet."] Went downtown and indulged in more fake coffee while I chatted to various people that I know, including the enchanting and debonairguildenstern and xzar, and the delightful brokenme85, while I waited to talk to Aaron at Rapture about some possible R2 gigs.
Annnnnddddd.... it looks like Interzone scores! Wooo!
I caught him fresh out of the Managers' meeting, and he told me that the managers all agreed to give us a monthly shot, taking one of the Thursdays per month for Electronica, EBM, Dark Techno, Industrial... woooooot. We might get the occasional Friday or Saturday, too. The deal is: 21+ [sorry], but free admission. That means - COME OUT TO SUPPORT US, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE IF YOU'RE OF AGE. Dammit! It'll be me plus rotating DJs, mostly of a Rift and AudioRapture nature I would guess, with possibilities for other guests [here's your chance to speak up, DJing friends]. There are some basic amenities that go along with the package for us, but I don't care about that... I want another regular gig, and it looks like I have it, wooo.
Left there in a happy daze, came home and washed clothes, worked out, cleaned up a bit, then made dinner. Hello, rampant energy!
What the hell? I find that every day, I get more and more wound... no caffiene, no sugar, and I'm a maniac. I don't get it, but okay.
Tomorrow... work, 3p - 7p. After that, I might have to once again go to the grocery store... the rest of the chicken I had went bad, and we ate everything else. Whoops. Guess that's what happens, yes? You buy the foods and you eats the foods. I should make the mashed cauliflower tomorrow night, it is yummy. And now I stop typing, because I am babbling.
