xianeADELPHIA SUCKS.
If you've been wondering why my comments and updates have been so sporadic, here's the poop: seems that Adelphia has some sort of problem that kicks our cable modem completely and randomly out of whack... sometimes unplugging power and cable from the back, waiting 10 seconds, then restarting it will bring it back. Often, that doesn't even work. We've talked to them about the problem, and they'd claimed to fix it, but that just isn't the case, and everyone in the house is getting irritated. Tomorrow I can look forward to another long-ass call to their support, trying to get to the bottom of things again. *sigh*
Last night at The Dawning: prime goodness. Slower bands aren't everyone's cup of whiskey, I know... but I loved loved loved the night, and I think a lot of the attendees did as well. The highlight of the evening, of course, was The Trinity Project, who managed to get the whole room dancing at one point. Hell yeah.
Next week is the Summer Solstice Party with myself and Henofer DJing, and we're trying to raise money for The Dawning. Steve from Ego/Trinity gave me a nice package of goodies to give away [hint hint for those who haven't picked up The Trinity Project CD, the Ego Likeness CD, or a tee from those bands... I have some cool schwag for yoooouuuu...] - I have some other cool ass stuff to give away, as well, and we'll be taking donations too. Rock.

krasota, going to JoAnne's to look at fabric and garden stuff, then to get a mocha and explore Michael's for a little while before she ran me over to WNRN. Now I'm here, getting ready for SubShock, which has a desperately non-updated playlist page, I know. Now that I'm starting to feel more like myself, I'll be trying to catch up with mundane and boring tasks like that. I really hate typing in playlists. That sould be the worst torture in the world. One day I'll get organized enough to take the laptop along and type everything out as I go, but... um... not yet. O_o
Oh yeah, for those who were sad that The Brides' show got cancelled... they're rescheduled now, for July 12th, with Turn Pale! Spooooooooky goodness and two damn fine bands, with me DJing! Rock and roll. Come prepared to dance, dammit.
