xianeBowflex rocks.
It took us hours to get it assembled, mostly because we're the sorts of morons that don't keep enough tools around us. We had to scramble around the house looking for an adjustable wrench and socket wrenches and the like. We laughed at the assurance from the assembly instructions that we were going to need a rubber mallet. [we didn't] After hours of make-shifting and challenging our problem-solving skills, we finally got it mostly assembled. krasota, explodingcat, and mbickers. That was fun, and not even as cold as I'd feared. Of course, good company and coffee helped keep my mind off of the rain :)
Came home, did my first work out! I did the basic 20 minute workout so that I could get used to the machine [and to lifting weights again, heh]... damn, I love it. It is efficient, works smoothly and is easy to adjust and change around. I think it is really going to be a great purchase for us. Stu has been using it like crazy, too. That's excellent.
Today I lazed around a bit, watched two squirrels get in a fight over the suet in the birdfeeder... got a call from the Tiny ex-DJ and went to Whole Foods with here, which was fun. Came home and I've been a lazy ass since then. I haven't had the laptop hooked up until now, as I had to move everything around to put the Bowflex up, so if I owe you email or anything, I'm getting to it ;)
Okay, I need to get motivated!
