xianeUgh. Tired tired Xiane.
This weekend came close to kicking my butt entirely, but I survived. Somehow. I am damn pooped now though, and I apologise to anyone I might have been short with or in any way icky. I'm really sorry for not being the nicest Xiane possible.
To fully update... Saturday somehow miraculously anded up being a damn fine night. I still am pretty unhappy about missing Das Ich altogether, but Jason/AudioRapture kicked major booty and pulled all the stops out to make us dance.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mbickers brought me cupcakes. nothingoth and endangeredhuman hung out, tried their best to keep me cheery, tended door so I could do social maintenance and generall relax, and in general were awesome. blackradish, daq42, krasota and explodingcat made me laugh, chatted, were social and fun and made me happy. So many wonderful people were there to support the night despite the lack of the much-touted band, and they all seemed to leave happy... so the night was quite the success that I thought unattainable at the beginning of the night. And I left feeling quite loved and appreciated, from all the support and friendship I was offered all night. Thank you all.
The next day was a Coyote day, then to NRN, where I met up a bit later withrat_bastard, who was my guest DJ for the evening on SubShock. We did a magnificent job, despite my cranky/stress/tiredness. Hung out, chatted, got to hear some tunes that Will's working on. Good stuff. Came home, passed the fuck out.
Got up today, went to Coyote. Got paid a visit from The Chad and Kim, on the way back to Richmond to take Kim home. That was nice as could be. And on the way back, Chad brought a present from Kim... a vinyl spikey backpack from The Asylum! Yay! I love love love it. I'm sure you'll see me with it tomorrow, like an alien appendage on my back.
There's a lot more I could add. I'm soooo tired. It will have to wait.
