What exactly is the taste of "clove"? I'm interested in good quality lip balm, but don't know if I'll like the clove flavour.

If you've never tasted clove buds, it's a spicy sort of thing... it's one of the spices that go into things like apple and pumpkin pie, but by itself it has a sweet/spicy bite. If you can find someone who will let you try a clove bud from their spice rack, that's the best way to find out. [yum!]
I've got ginger too, and coffee - I can also make strawberry, orange, lemon, vanilla honey... or just honey. [and I have other colours I can make them, or no colour at all!]

Have you ever combined strawberry and lemon? And do you use fresh fruit to produce your product (because I dislike strawberry flavoured things since they taste so artificial)?

They're not made directly from real fruit, but the flavouring agents are real extracts or essential oils, not artificial. I'm like you, super picky about how things taste [and how good they are for me and the environment] so I only use the best stuff. I've never combined strawberry and lemon, but I was talking this summer about trying to swirl flavours like that. I should play with that!

Haha, well, I ask not to suggest product combinations for you, but out of selfish interest, as I'd like a lip balm combining strawberry and lemon (especially one out of natural extracts as you describe). I can wait until later though.

I saw your pink roses on your website and thought of something I've done in the past. If you boil fresh rose petals in water (I used a small test tube) over a small flame, you can produce a mild perfume that smells wonderful. It might work better if you were to mix the distilled liquor with an oil or alcohol base, but I can't remember if I did that. Just an idea if you have any rose petals that you haven't dried yet. It's been years and years since I produced the perfume - so I apologise for not having only a dim recollection and not many details.

Or candelilla, which can be a little bit softer than carnuba. They are good subsitutes in lip balm.

Ha, you're already there with the candelilla! I might have to rope you guys into testing some vegan lip bliss for me when it's ready. I know, it's such a hardship ;)

I am looking into vegan options that make me happy. I actually need to make a supplies order soon - a friend recommends candelilla wax, and carnauba is another option. I'm not familiar with working with them, so it would take a little experimentation before they'd be ready. I want to have vegan options for everything possible... I already make sure that all my sugars in my scrubs are vegan, and I have options for waxes for sealing my bottles. It's really important to me.

Speaking of, if there's bath stuff you're looking for, vegan-wise, definitely ask me about it. If I can't personally make it [which would be odd] I know people who will have it. [and thank you! you're so freaking awesome.]

What did you want multiples of? It'll only sell as much as I have listed, and I usually only list a small amount at a time, because I make things in small batches, and occasionally I only have one or two of something. But I can make a listing for you with adjusted shipping to combine if you let me know what you wanted more of. I don't think there's much of anything I had listed that I don't have more of, currently. [and if you want more eye pillows in other colors, let me know. I have lots and lots of fabric!]

I have shower gels to remake/relist - those are super awesome - and a new face cleanser/masque. I've got a reusable handwarmer pack in the works, too. Oh, and a shea butter body balm that I need to get off my rump and work with to perfect. That'll take a little longer.

The other thing that I do, with my pal Melissa, has been going really well... the mineral eyeshadow thing. Not so much of interest to you specifically, but if you know anyone looking for vegan eyeshadow in fun colors, please do send 'em our way.
