4 December 2002 10:58I d/l'ed another LiveJournal client last night, Semagic. I think I like it so far... hmm.
I had to do a lot of d/ling last night, because I made the switch from the Micron laptop I was using, which had some annoying issues, to the other on we'd gotten tthe same time, which has the nipple mouse activated, not the touchpad... the keybord's in better shape, and most importantly - it has a 6 gig drive. Yeah. I'm really liking this one! I've managed to make transferring all my crap from comupter to computer almost painless. I only need a few more programs on this laptop to have everything I might need, at least everything I already had. And this laptop has USB ports, which the other one was sadly lacking.
I've been also occupied with this whole "setting up your own kitchen" thing. We got our new refridge yesterday, and it is small an cute, the perfect size for our teeny kitchen! The stove [with it's sadly deficient burners] is already in, and all I need now is silverware, pots, and utensils. Well, and a lot of other crap that isn't necessary but will make using that space much better.I haven't had to buy stuff like this in 5 years. It is odd. The kitcen desperately needs to be relieved of the nasty Sprite-bottle green it is currently encumbered with. Another day, another project.
Tonight it is supposed to snow. Tonight, I flyer. Will the two coincide? Oooooooo... I hope so! I LOVE snow. Now, having snow while working at WNRN, that might be a bit much [as it is across town and you just can't call in with snow - it HAS to be on the air at all times], but in general, I love snow and I'm always happy to see it. If it would sno on my birthday this year, I would consider it a perfect birthday, although that might wreck the big plans for The Dawning that night. Oh, the posibilities.
Okay, I must get ready for work at Coyote. Another four hours of selling hair dye, Haunukah cards, piercing jewelry, and shiny tree ornaments made of recycled things. Woo. More later.
