Snoop Dogg just mentioned on Conan O'Brien's show that he listens to Nick Cave. [and Celine Dion, but we'll pretend that we didn't hear that.]

Well, that's kinda cool.

In other news, I went to the Cleveland County Fair last night with [livejournal.com profile] inefficiency and got to pet goats and sheeples. Also there was riding of the Caterpillar [basically the Himalaya] and something akin to the "haunted house" of last year that really was more like a miniature wild mouse... and Rob rode the "Freak-Out". Wooo!

Also, I had a deep fried oreo. It is surprisingly better that you'd think.

Mmmmmm deep fried oreo, that sounds good enough to suffer through an illergic reaction!

i should probably be ashamed to admit this, but some friends up here and i have been talking about having a disgustingly cheezy late 80s/early 90s hip hop dance party and if we do it, i am totally featuring the snoop dogg themesong.

1. They are really GOOD. Maybe too good.
2. Lynyrd Skynyrd [FREEBIRD!] and Nickleback. [could be worse, right? Maybe?]

For some reason the Snoop Dogg think doesn't surprise me at all. I can definitely seem some similarities, in theme at least.

I'm waiting to try the deep-fried mars bar, served in Glasgow.

I think some chippies in New York sell them, if you want a somewhat cheaper artery clogging.

Oh, well, I'm in Edinburgh right now so Glasgow is only an hour away.
