Today and Tomorrow

Today: food and coffee at One World with the always wonderful scary_kisses and djdayglo, and a surprise sighting of rampantpuppy, too! It was so good to catch up with miss Aurora and of course have more time with my favourite Monkey! I hope Jon kicks all asses at the Psychobilly show tonight!

Tomorrow: packing, then dinner with jukebox_heroine, crossbonesdj, and oletheros. Good stuff, I can't wait! I did get directions, guys - see you there at five. It looks fairly simple to locate.
Back on the road after that, I should be in C'ville by 9ish. That means if everything goes as planned, I should have time to get the key to my room and maybe even unpack before hitting up the Sunday edition of The Dawning and the show with Synthetic Division, In Tenebris and The Last Dance. Yay!

I'm mostly trying to be kind to my friends, but also I've been feeling hemmed in by staying at my mom's - not that she's bad to stay with, just that... well, it's her house not mine and I feel bad if I come in late. :D
Also, Miss Kristy's going to crash with me on Tuesday night, so that helps both of us. Also, I'm onery. Also, *love*

They got hella pissed off at me for the one non-psycho-rockabilly song that I played: Methodman and Redman "Cereal Killer." People damn near started leaving and giving me dirty looks. One person told me to cut it off. After that, I didn't even have the balls to play Thriller. Stacey (who I haven't talked to in over a month) and her boyfriend, Nick were the only people to say anything nice about the music I played. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.
