So. It has come to this.

In his neverending quest to command ALL our attention ALL the time, [livejournal.com profile] squeegee_cat has gone on a Class A Rampage of destruction this evening.
Normally he's rambunctious and demanding of our time. We can handle removing the mail from his mouth, picking up the things he's thrown on the floor, mopping up the water he likes to fling.

...tonight, he's in a new realm of obnoxious. HE ATE PART OF MY ESPRESSO MACHINE.

ATE IT.

*sigh*

The whole house looks like a two-year-old tore through it, which is pretty appropriate. I told him that if he didn't start behaving himself that we were going to eat him. This hasn't really been much of a deterrent. Right now he's got a mouse in a crinkly nest of packing paper that he's gleefully ripping apart.

...

Interesting Stanley-type news - Rob and I were leaving to get some dinner, and we spotted a *female* mantis on the wall downstairs! We talked to her a bit, tried to convince her to move off the wall and to someplace where she is less of a target. Eventually she flew over our heads and into the grass, where we bid her a good night and asked her if she hooked up with Stanley, if she could let him keep his head. ;)
Maybe he's got a mate! I hope so.

He's such a bad cat. You're going to have to give him some training sweetie. You need to put 1 finger firmly on his forhead, and tell him No in a low, authorative voice. Apparantly the mamma cat would put her paw firmly on his forehead to chastise him. They understand that, or at least they remember it.

Has he got toys which hold his attention, like treat balls and the like?

xx

Dude, what did he eat??? I mean, I'm having trouble imagining a cat eating part of an espresso machine! Poor you - I remember when Grendel was younger, he was a royal pain in the ass in many of the same ways as your cat seems to be.

(The lil' dude's okay, right? The bit he at will, erm, pass, right?)

Ah.... the giggles! I wonder, can I use this disciplinary tactic with my child, or have you had it copywritten? "If you don't stop biting Granpas leg, I will put you in the stew!." Hehehehehehe. I'm sorry about you espresso machine. Charming. I love your cat and I've never met him.

Oh noes! =D

Boots knocked over a Tom Clark figurine of my mother's ($250 figurine) and broke it's head off and part of it's hat - so I had to krazy glue it together...she knew about it though.

EEEK.

Crazy kittens/cats!

Hopefully Ms. Mantis heeds your advice and leaves Stanley with his head intact...that'd be VERY considerate of her! =D

Squeegee ate part of your espresso machine?! God...I can only imagine how upset you two were. And I think Squeege isn't too affected by your threats because he thinks you won't follow through.

Then again, if you do follow through, there won't be anymore Squeegee. Hmmmmmm.

It must be in the air - Midnight and Ripples have been terrorizing my house for 2 days straight. I can only imaging how bad it would be if the house wasn't clean. Ate the coffee maker? Are you sure he isn't a squirrel. :)
