blackradish and sxoidmal] - but my laptop decided that IT wanted to go to sleep, and spit out it's plug before I could hit "update". I really need to find out why my battery is sometimes registering, sometimes not. It's either a shitty connection, or I need a new battery. I'm not complaining much, the laptop was free!
It's raining. We need it SO much... it won't fill the resevoir, but every drop is precious here right now. I've never been more aware of water than I have this year... between my almost-bout-with-death from dehydration brought on by infection, and this terrible drought, I am being brought to the hard fact that water truly is priceless. We take it for granted - I know I did - and without it, we are dust. Maybe this seems simplistic to state, but how often do you REALLY think about this? You go in your bathroom, run the faucet for 10 minutes while brushing your teeth... take 20 minute long showers... run the washer with just a few shirts in it... it adds up. I carry water with me wherever I go now, so I don't dehydrate. I feel like I'm carrying life with me. Yes, I'm weird.
