Trip to the past.
4 January 2006 15:37If'n you're not from Baltimore, you probably don't know/care who Crack The Sky is. [A quick rundown of their bio for those who give a crap is here.]
Yesterday while
Wendy-bot and I were poking around The Sound Garden, I found a copy of Crack The Sky's "Rare!" - all weird/live/unreleased tracks. Many of them are deservedly so, yet I am enjoying the well-aged cheese greatly. Expect to hear something from this tonight. I'm almost 100% sure of what it'll be :D
A lot of these songs are of the sort of quality you'd expect [in other words, not crystalline clear] but if you like progressive rock from the late 70's/80's, this CD might amuse you.

2006-01-04 21:10 (UTC)... I used to have... oh god, this is hilarious. I used to have a black satin jacket with the 98 ROCK logo in glittery letters on the back.
Now you know.
GLEN BURNOUT!

2006-01-05 13:23 (UTC)They are great in concert. To give you an idea how long ago it was when I saw them last, they did an acoustic set at Max's On Broadway back when they were a live music club.
