If'n you're not from Baltimore, you probably don't know/care who Crack The Sky is. [A quick rundown of their bio for those who give a crap is here.]
Yesterday while djdaygloWendy-bot and I were poking around The Sound Garden, I found a copy of Crack The Sky's "Rare!" - all weird/live/unreleased tracks. Many of them are deservedly so, yet I am enjoying the well-aged cheese greatly. Expect to hear something from this tonight. I'm almost 100% sure of what it'll be :D

A lot of these songs are of the sort of quality you'd expect [in other words, not crystalline clear] but if you like progressive rock from the late 70's/80's, this CD might amuse you.

I remember "Funky Pasadena!"

... I used to have... oh god, this is hilarious. I used to have a black satin jacket with the 98 ROCK logo in glittery letters on the back.

Now you know.

GLEN BURNOUT!

I used to have the Dead Leopards shirt. It said 'Bend Over And Smile Like A Shark : 98Rock' on the back. Ahahaha! Also : This pic contains me wearing a shirt that says 'Hammerjacks RIP 1976-1993'.

Just for you...

i'm rather unfamiliar with Crack the Sky.

i'm always up for new artists (as long as they're worth checking out, of course).
and i loves me some Late '70s/'80s.

Not only have I heard of them, I'm enough of an old fart to have actually SEEN them live.

They are great in concert. To give you an idea how long ago it was when I saw them last, they did an acoustic set at Max's On Broadway back when they were a live music club.
