If'n you're not from Baltimore, you probably don't know/care who Crack The Sky is. [A quick rundown of their bio for those who give a crap is here.]
Yesterday while Wendy-bot and I were poking around The Sound Garden, I found a copy of Crack The Sky's "Rare!" - all weird/live/unreleased tracks. Many of them are deservedly so, yet I am enjoying the well-aged cheese greatly. Expect to hear something from this tonight. I'm almost 100% sure of what it'll be :D

A lot of these songs are of the sort of quality you'd expect [in other words, not crystalline clear] but if you like progressive rock from the late 70's/80's, this CD might amuse you.

Not only have I heard of them, I'm enough of an old fart to have actually SEEN them live.

They are great in concert. To give you an idea how long ago it was when I saw them last, they did an acoustic set at Max's On Broadway back when they were a live music club.
