Vomitus Maximus. You have to understand, I almost NEVER vomit, especially repeatedly. I don't think I've ever had dry heaves outside of being hung over until now. I was up until four-thirty this morning visiting Mr Tiolet Bowl... we're very close now... and it was getting to the point where I was afraid it was never going to stop. I even considered going to the emergency room, that's how bad off I was. Severe [I can't stress HOW severe these were, I felt like I was being ripped apart] stomache pains; 45 minute intervals of heaving; extreme swings between freezing and burning up... yay.
I feel wobbly but okay today. For now. I have NO idea what happened! I suspected food posoning when it first started, but now I'm thinking maybe a 24 hour bug? If so, that was the most evil bug I've ever suffered. Damn.

Now I need to figure out if I can eat anything. Wish me luck.

One of the most miserable times of my life occurred several years ago, when I caught a relatively brief but exceedingly nasty stomach virus of some sort. It caused me to vomit regularly from 11PM til about 7AM the next morning. And, as if that wasn't enough, the virus caused other forms of purgation (I'll let you guess what kind)*simultaneously* for the entire duration of the ordeal.

Apparantly, I caught it from a friend who had had the virus a few days prior, though, at the time that the virus started to kick in, I was eating lemon meringue pie, so for a very long time, the sight of lemon meringue pie made me slightly uneasy.

sweetie, if you get a stiff neck and headache, promise me you'll go to the ER? with all those mosquitoes in your backyard, i'd worry about WNV. vomiting isn't a common symptom, but it *can* happen.

Christmas 2 years ago I got that shit.
I just hit me, BAM! I threw up 15 times from 11 pm to 10:00 am when I finally got to the Dr. Passed out at the Dr.'s office. They tried to (clandestinely) discuss sending me to the ER. I waved weakly and said I'd die first. Sent me home with phenergan (sp?) and antibiotics (just in case) It was gone in 24 hours. Then everyone ELSE got it and I got to take care of them.

Got another one in February where I froze to death for 5 hours and then puked for two. Then THAT ended.

I don't know what the HELL they are. Food poisoning (been there & got that from a Western Sizzlin') lasts longer.
