Things that made me happy today:

Had some time to myself tonight.
Used it to dye my hair. It looks nice, a custom bright purple job.
My boss really seems to like and value me.
I have a fabulous boyfriend, even if he's not here.
My life is full of projects and creative ventures.
I can make a damn good flyer or other sort of presentation. I have good layout skills.
I get a lot of email, and it isn't all spam.
I have managed to somehow gain a few new friendships that I really appreciate.
Someone seems to think I'm interesting; there may be more. Stay tuned.

Yeah. Now for the opposite end:

I'm really tired.
I dyed my thumb purple.
I had a really hard day at work, and the end of it was so crap that I almost burst into tears at one point.
A lot of the people I hang around/call friends are really inconsiderate sometimes. It bothers me. I know they don't mean it, but that doesn't change anything.
There's a high percentage of mooch around me these days.
Stu's not here. I'm lonely and I miss him.
My rings keep slipping around my fingers loosely because it is damn cold in this house.

Um.. let's see. Subculture Shock was pretty fun - Liam showed up about 45 minutes into things and made me laugh a lot... I didn't flub any of my read parts, but I did end up with some dead air due to wacko technical issues. It wasn't too bad in afterthought, but I was pretty panicky while it was going on. Lots of people asked me about things I played, which always makes me smile.
The Dawning was great, although the attendance factor is really dragging me down. I can't figure out if it's us, the crowd, the decline of goth popularity, or just dumb bad luck...? Side 3 was excellent, much more pleasing than last time, and terribly nice people. They crashed here at my house, and I talked to them for a really long time both that night and in the AM before they left. Go see them whenever you can. They're great.

Yeah. Blah blah blah. Wooo.

Lol. The list making mania strikes again! Good deal. I am perplexed by the thumb thing -- why/how did you dye it purple? Though purple is always a good colour for thumbs.
