That thing is pretty nifty. It's interesting how following the links to certain artists can take you further and further away from where you started. I started with SNOG, but couldn't get back to it without starting over. Wierd.
Wow, I'll be getting a lot of use out of *this*. Thanks for the great link! Reminds me slightly of a really great page I ran across a few years ago that attempted to map a whole bunch of electronic dance and electronic-related genres and went into some crazy obscure stuff. I wish I could still find it.
Do you ever use www.allmusic.com? The old version was better, IMHO, but it's still the first place I stop when I have a question about a particular band I've never heard of or I want to know more about. Great research tool, especially the way everything is cross-referenced several different ways.
allmusic.com is a great resource. We use it at NRN all the freakin' time, and if I have a question about anything I'm going to say on the air, i always double-check it against Allmusic.
