xianeI never seem to sleep anymore. I finally recognized this as a pattern linked to seasonal changes, but that doesn't fix the fact that I'm tired all the time. I've been achey, too - maybe I'm dying. Okay, maybe not. I just feel really funky, overall.
Tonight's the VNV show. I'm riding up with Payback, along with AudioRapture [I almost typed AudioRaptor!] and Kym... and there's another carful of Cville contingent that includes Spookybat, the stompy Marika [those would be my coworkers], and Randy... that should be it for Cvillians that I know are going. We're to meet with Team Richmond upon arrival, which I look forward to, seeing as I might not be seeing them as much as I have been after this weekend. They seem to want to come out to The Dawning a lot, which I'm counting on, but that drive could turn anyone off from going out. That is easily the most boring trek I know; one hour each way of two lanes plus trees.
Just have to get through this day. It has been in the 90's all week, so the Soup's been dead... you would think this would be good, but it just gives us time to concoct drama and be really bored. *sigh*
Oh, and I am starting to really have the idea of payback's leaving hit home on me. As he keeps saying, he's not going away forever... but dammit. At least he's DOING something, which I respect greatly... but from a purely selfish point of view, I wish it didn't involve him getting shipped off to accomplish.
Okay, I *have* to get dressed and get out of here. I won't be back tonight until REALLY late, so I probab;y won't update until Friday. You've been warned ;)
