It's raining in the way that I always find myself responding to - soft patters, in no discernable rythym, soothing to the ears... the air is chill, with the damp quality that speaks both of melancholy and promise. This weather always stirs my soul, makes me want to write long paragraphs of insightful and hopeful words.

I love days like this.

I loves the rain too. I'm listening to it patter on our skylights.

Although my knee isn't too happy. Oas wells, i'll enjoy the sound of the rain at least.

You will never feel the same about rain after you read Dean Koontz's new book "The Taking". Its' been a long time since a book kept me up at night. And when it started raining.........

You'd be surprised ;)
At Coyote, hours pass with nothing at all to do. That's the place I get reading done. And I'd love to borrow it sometime! Thank you!

you bet, you'll love it! I go in UVA on Monday, maybe one of the boys can bring it to you at your work. It's Koontz's idea of Armmegedon, and it's great.

So I'm behind Chris in line to read it now? Makes sense, really, as she'll probably finish it before I would. . .

that's what I was thinking. But you can have it first too, and then give it to her....whatever. It's quick reading, scary, but quick.

Indeed.

Weather like this stirs the creativity in my thoughtmeats as well... All in all I just want to enjoy a nice warm pitcher of Sake and creat music on my keyboards...

*Applauds the dreary creativity*

It's really good to see that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Making music is a perfect activity for a day like today.
