I have a lot to say, and no brain to say it with.

I'll leave it at this for now: it was awesome.
We could have a very good club on our hands.
There was only a small bit of drama, some pre-emptive.
I didn't like that.
There were many many more wonderful moments, that we should all be proud of. We did GOOD. I think we'll be asked back again, at least for random shows at first.
The bands rocked. People danced from 8p onward, and how rare is that? People came out, helped, caroused, talked, danced, drank, and enjoyed from open till close.

I need to go to bed. The yawning has started. I have many bags of trash in my yard. There's a lot of booze in my living room. There are stacks of cokes [I almost typed cocks] by the door, and a bin of coke and water outside. I have a piece of drum kit that one of Thursday's bands left behind.
I need to go to bed. The sun is out.
That was awesome.

I am VERY proud of you!! I'm so glad it was a success! I had been planning on coming down to see the show (for two weeks now) and I've come down with a nasty cold. Mack truck meet Karen.... YOU did awesome! I'm glad the night went so well. We LOVED the new venue.

However there are some things that need explaining:

First, who was the rascally pirate who must have knocked me over the head with a belaying pin? Head... hurts...

Second, why did I have nightmares about hordes of feral cats led by a gleeful woman with eyes on top of her head?

Third, why and how did my wife get Terminal Ready plastered on her ass?

And fourth, how did I get these awful stains on my iron pantaloons?

It's a reference to an old meme from college, when we communicated in Pig German (after Pig Latin). Mainly it involved adding "Das uber ..." to any affirmative or declarative statement and "Nichten der ..." to any negative statement. Also, "-havin' " was added to the end of every verb, like this:
"Das uber fun-havin'."

Thankfully, we never encountered any actual German-speaking people while we were making asses of ourselves. *laughs*
