hello from the depths

Stuff I've been meaning to say:

Congratulations, Vomitus. You have managed to give me a gift that keeps giving: GERD. I enjoy the fact that no matter what I eat or don't eat, I seem to get acid reflux every night since your last visit. I'm glad I have something so permeating to remember you by.

I'm currently feeling pretty ill right now, ill enough to cancel making mineral eyeshadows and practice putting up the EZ-up tent with lipplenip. That sucks. I was going to introduce her to my Little Red Wagon, too. [currently in search of a name]

I canceled my Live365 account. For you, the reader, this means that if you were previously enjoying Radio Xiane, you have until April 27th to listen to the current rotation. I want to start posting podcast broadcasts instead, but if there's no interest then I won't bother. [that's your cue to say "yes chris pls" or"I'm sick of your musical taste anyway" or "I like peanut."] I can make this into a poll if that's what you need to feel involved in the decision-making process.

I got my first wholesale account offer this week. I sent my prices over and haven't heard back. Go me. I also got ripped off for the first time as a buyer on Etsy. Considering that I've been a member since August 2005, that's not too bad of a record.

I have to drag all my sproutlings in this evening, because they're calling for possible sub-freezing temps. Ack. I have beautiful lettuce going, happy purslane and persian cress, johnny-jump-ups, brussel sprouts... all that will be camping on my washer tonight!

squeegee_cat continues to be a life-saver. After all this horrible pet food recall action, I realized although I was trying to be a good cat mom and make good food choices, I was feeding my cat something akin to high-end fast food. I am now transitioning him to a raw diet and he's been really funny about it. He sings arias after a particularly good meal. He's also been ridiculously cuddly with me. Overall, he's just an excellent feline friend and I'm lucky he's here.
