Okay.

I just woke up, so nothing coherent yet.

But I sleep with Headline News on these days [being sick often, I like to have comforting voices in the room, even if they're telling me the world's going to shit] and I've noticed the abundance of really cool and/or interesting music in their fades. First it was The Cure's "Lullaby" then Prince, "Seventeen Days". WTF? They had "Head Like A Hole" while I was sick one day! O_o

... you got me, man. It's kinda cool, though.
xiane: ([djing])
Yeah, I just got home.

Had to try [unsuccessfully] to talk [livejournal.com profile] rat_bastard back onto the correct path to 95. This after he and I spent a huge amount of time chatting it up at Paper Moon [yum!].

I'm exhausted. You people - the people who came out, and ESPECIALLY the people who drove HOURS to be here - you rule. Oh, and let me mention that a good chunk of the crew I used to hang out with when i used to live here - people I've known since 1985 in some cases - showed up to CryptKicker tonight. The place was decently full, people seemed to have a good time, and I *know* I did.

Thank you. Stuff like this can't happen without you.

... and if you want a copy of the CD I made, or a button, and didn't get one? Let me know.

Okay, I pass out now.

ps - thank you to all the well-wishers via LJ, too. You're so damn awesome.
