Gah, what a day. Nothing horribly horrendous happened [eek, alliteration!] but I am happy to move on to Wednesday.

Good thing #1: Got my BADGES from boirozzlyn today. If you've been looking for 1 inch pins to show your support for Malice In Leatherland or Cave Of Graves, that's where you go to get 'em. And if you haven't - what the fuck? Wake up and go buy a couple of 'em! Go download their music from their sites, while you're at it.

Good thing #2: Got my kickback check from that CD MAP Antitrust Litigation thing. Only $13.86, but who the hell cares? More cash for me! briskpepper got one too.

Good thing #3: I looked really good today, even if no one fucking saw. See what you miss when you don't come by to hang out with me at Coyote? I was sporting a cropped Gossamer tee, my hoodie, a long black skirt, and purple fishnets over black tights. I'm trying to come up with new things for my hair while I go through the agony of growing-out, so I was wearing one of those dumb kerchief things, which somehow I managed to pull off without looking like I was there to clean someone's mansion. I think the red eyebrows saved it, pulling my look together with my red hair sticking out of the back. Or it could just be that I have too much saucy attitude to be your maid. Fuck if I know!

Bad thing #1: Coyote was DEAD all afternoon. This was good for all the intense "Big Business Book For Dummies" reading I was involved with, but not so great for the making of the moneys. If they don't get customers, I can't get paid. Arg.

Bad thing #2: I didn't get errands done that I wanted to before I got to work today. That makes tomorrow even more hectic.

Really, that's about it, as far as bad things go. Not so bad, I suppose I should shut up with the complainin'.

Uh... let's see what else I need to spew on... I took up the mantle of Office Manager at WNRN again, so I'll be losing some of my free time, but gaining a tiny tiny bit more money. I'm not joking about the tiny part; they pay almost nothing. If nothing else, it will insure that all the CDs get to the right people. And you can feel free to translate that as: all the Goth/Industrial CDs will get to audiorapture, dj_radioactive, and me.
I spent a good part of the day organizing for the upcoming Benefit shows. [For those who missed the announcement: at the Old Live Arts space, 609 Market St - the Goth/Industrial one is happening on March 27th. The other one is on March 26th and is all local Indy Rock. The 28th is the SubShock Spring Fundraiser date, where I somehow try and squeeze even more money out of the wonderful local community. I'm getting good at fundraising, but I'm soooo tired of begging!] If you've got equipment that you'd like to loan/donate, now's the time to speak up. I need lots of things, including a light swich/controller, stage lighting, a PA, cords, a snake, monitors... god, you name it. What we can't beg or borrow I'll have to rent, eating into the profit for the benefit. As it is, insurance is going to hurt, so if you can help... please?

I meant to wrap this up quickly, and all I can seem to do is ramble. Shit. Make me go to sleep! I have a long-ass day ahead of me.

Dude...I did that for a straight year, and got tired of looking like shit...usually when I go to the club, I don't care that I've got short hair, but on campus...it was bright pink, so yanno...bad case of a need of a dye job, and so I chopped it all off, and now my hair's an inch and spiky all over.. :)

Hell yeah! I'm all about supporting those people who actually take the time to make things happen - bands, artists, creators... this covers a bunch of cool people at once, and maybe one or two of my friends will catch on or at least be inspired to make something, too.

When will your new designs be up, btw? I want to make another order, but I like getting a bunch at once. If I keep this up, my bag will be covered with your badges!

ack, i am trying the growing out hair thing too. and my eyebrows are purple! but instead of kerchiefs, i make myself pretty little headbands at 1 AM. i would bring come by coyote, except i have SCHOOL.

You guys are in in in. Other bands are Terminal Ready, Silent MOOSE, Atomic Box and Heretics In The Lab. The date is March 27th, and the door will be $10 [I know it's high, but five bands!] I'm not sure what time doors will open, first band probably at 8 or 9p, TBD.
What's your email these days? If I see you online tomorrow before I run off to gallivant across Cville, I'll get that and find out what you need. And stuff.

I'll be sending Richard the designs to be pressed in a few days (on the first) and he usually takes two or three days to press them and usually sends them out the next day. He sends them first class mail which takes only two or three days to get to me. The last set of designs he sent out on Friday and I had them on Monday and I only sent him the designs a week before I got them.

So, like, another ten days before I post more designs, probably. After that, I'd say expect new designs every two or three weeks.

Hopefully I'll get enough money from this to do stickers and patches soon, after that, t-shirts. :) Mmm... t-shirts. When I start doing t-shirts, I'll offer cutting them for people for free (sleeve removal, neck removal, cropping the waists... I've been doing this to my own for the last five years and have gotten pretty good at it...)

Ah c'est la vie...it grows. I'm always unhappy with my hair and chopping it off or dying it. Currently, it's black..I'm thinking about adding hot pink highlights...but I dunno...
