... but I picked up the new Einsturzende Neubauten [Perpetuum Mobile] last night, a day earlier than the release date, due to some proactiveness from the Plan 9 employees. Listening to it right now, and I'm finding it something I'd want to put in while driving. This summer, in the hearse.... hmmmm.
I also picked up a copy of the Cocteau Twins/Harold Budd release [The Moon And The Melodies], which I only owned on cassette before. It is a sad truth of my life, I'm constantly searching for the releases that I only owned on cassette before this. Haven't listened to it yet, I'll probably save it for work.

Gotta love a band that lists as instruments: air cake [I assume that's what's on the front cover?], linden leaves, air compressor, car tire, gas burner, survival blanket [!], plastic tubes... and of course my favourite... amplified metal spring.

Have you had a chance to listen to all of the supporter CD you're borrowing? Dead Friends is supposed to be the only song that is exactly the same. Otherwise, the others are different songs and different versions/mixes of same songs. I'm curious. I'll be getting that new album eventually anyway. Congrats on the step forward with old Live Arts!

Your icon... is mesmerizing. O_O

I'm bringing your supporter CD with me so I can return it, and I'll listen to it in full at work. I'll be interested to hear the differences. I really like this new one - for a CD filled with people beating on things, it is very soothing.
I'm going to request at Plan 9 that they order three more copies of this CD - I didn't tell the story, but it seems that they *only* ordered a copy each for both Plan 9s. What the heck? I told the guy there yesterday that I know of at least four people IMMEDIATELY who will want this CD. Duh.

I made Chad pout because I got to it before he could. ;)
I'll bring it along, too, and might perhaps be convinced to let you borrow it ;)
