Well, THAT was awesome!

That was one of the more fun and interesting SubShocks I've ever done :D
Lots of good response to all the local bands - some people didn't know we had that many! Surprise! Even with the CD players' histrionics, the show was a good one.

The only bad news - I'm going to have to stay for at least an hour of Modern Rock tonight. The overnight dude can't make it through the snow [pish posh] and so I'm stuck doing it until Jaz can come in and take over. ARG!

Hopefully, I'll be able to go in late to work tomorrow. I've not been getting enough sleep lately.

Okay, time to get my music together. I haven't done this in... ages. Poop. Wheee!

aw, i'm sorry to hear that you're stuck! i sent you an IM a while ago, saying to IM me to let me know you got in ok. i was concerned for you traveling on the roads.

at least i know you're ok right now! IM me, just so i know, though, please? i might be asleep, but i'd like to get it when i wake up. i worry about my friends who have to be outin the snow...

hey, you did a good job! Sorry about the past comments in here, I was alittle angry and vented the wrong way and I promise it won't happen again. But the c-ville did change Nny's quote.

hey if you read this in time, would it be any trouble to play another ThisMeansYou song during the modern rock portion? I can't wait 'till the 27th of Feb. to see them at Outback again.

We're all good :) I think there were some MAJOR problems with the C-ville and their selective quoting system - they half-quoted me a lot, too - so no hard feeling from this quarter. I'm hoping that no matter what, the press ends up helping us by drawning people who *want* to get involved with a project like ours.

I didn't get the message in time, but I'll play something else - maybe Das German Song - next week from TMY. I'm looking forward to the show next month too! Make sure you guys get out there really early, for the Terminal Ready part of the show ;)

An inspired idea for this SubShok edition !! Hope my phone call did not set the audio trouble in motion !!!!! Question : Is there a link where I can view this last SubShok set list ?? I am familiar with a lot of the local bands you spun , by there were others unknown to me. I would like to record them so that if I see a CD, I will know to purchase it ; I do enjoy supporting local whenever possible !! Thanx !! As always ~
