Why am I not asleep? Why does my brain just keep on turning? I hate that. I like that I think all the time [for reasons besides the obvious, uh-huh] but I get really tired of how my brain obsesses over the things that bother me; I will ponder and analyze and worry until I have myself worked up into a fine frenzy. I'm learning a tiny bit at a time how to conquer this tendency... maybe one day before I die, I'll master it.

Food For Thought:
Beggars In Spain This story interests me for many reasons, only one of which is the fact that I generally sleep much less than most people I know. Where's MY super-intelligence? Dammit. If you haven't read the book, you really should. This is a palm-oriented site, but the synopsis is excellent.
