Hey, look! I'm awake, and I even "dressed up" today - I'm wearing more gothic-schmothic clothes than I usually do to work. Normal attire is a swoopy skirt or a tight 80's style skirt and a band tee. On this day, the crinkly rayon and cotton steampunk style is gettin' rocked. Why? I dunno. I just felt like looking pretty, not schlumpy, or even "comfortable".
Today isn't a big deal day or anything. I work at Coyote all day, then I should come home. Whoop-dee-do. I'll have my laptop with me, and even though NaNo is over and I didn't finish in time, I'm still plugging away at the novel. I like the story andthe characters, I can't let them die!

Okay, off to work with me. See you guys later tonight!

You know, I can't comment in this page without getting that damned "Found a Peanut" camp song stuck in my head. . .

I totally agree with dressing up for no apparent reason sometimes. It just makes you feel good, really. Some would say that's being a bit superficial, but there's nothing wrong with looking in the mirror and saying "Damn, I look good today!"

Dressing up for no reason is the best. I do it almost everyday ... only I don't do it if I'm just sitting on my butt at home all day ... But if I'm going to Wal*Mart or something, that's good enough reason for me to try and look pretty. ::giggles::

i too, am dressed up today! to be professional, while applying for jobs. (chrisbob saw me) blue jeans, nice green knit top, "normal" shoes, and a black blazer... some people downtown said "meredith, you look relatively normal.. everything ok? i didnt even know you owned bluejeans!" (ha! shows how well they know *me*) anyway, i think i'll stop by, after my interview at wal-mart, to show you "me dressed up"... tata for now! ::hugs::
