Sorry Xiane,

I didn't check my lj until now (10:30pm) and so didn't get your message. But of course, I still want to help with anything you need. So, I can flyer with y'all next week if you give me a time / place (to meet you & get stuff) a few days in advance.

Also, I can do other stuff. I dunno what you think about sitting at the door. Or if you need help setting anything up again (even regular hum drum stuff would be fun if it's with y'all) just let me know. :o)

Don'chu worry, I had a feeling that this was the case. We were running a wee bit late, too, so I thought maybe you'd come and gone. No matter, it was ridiclously cold-windy out and we got everything done as fast as we could. Not the big fun it usually is, more a tiny whee!
I'm still trying to figure everything out... one thing I *know* I need help with, that I think you miht be just the guy for - we have no one to run lights, usually. That means that Chad and I take turns. The light board is wretched, and the lights all need to be repositioned and whatnot. Would that be something you were interested in? It would involve being up in the DJ booth during the performance, and maybe either stopping by during soundchecks or before we open to see what needs to be done to the lights. :D

Thank you SO much for volunteering! That puts a HUGE smile on my face. Yay!

I want to help out, somehow. What can I do? I will come flyer next semester if Wednesday nights don't turn out to be hell again (like this semester). But...what else could I do?

Flyering helps, definitely. I'm thinking I might start asking people to take a stack of flyers on saturdays to put up around campus, etc. That way I can eliminate the big flyering task, which would free up a night for me. Or instead, we can make that night that we used to flyer a big "go out to get coffee and hang out in a place that's not the club" night. Oooh, I like that idea. :D

What do you think? I suspect that I am covertly gathering what they call a "street team". Wow.
