So I'm getting out of town for the day. Off to frolic with [livejournal.com profile] payback and Randy in NoVa. I am looking to de-stress and possibly buy a few things such as CDs and military surplus apparel, as well as cause general mayhem and have some adventure. I think our chances are good for this.
Was exausted all day yesterday, after a VERY long night in Richmond. Godfrey's was the usual; 4th Street diner afterwards made up for that a bit. Did have fun talking to the usual suspects... every week we go, and every week we complain. I think we're gluttons for punishment, myself. I do like the sleep depped slap-happy effect it has on me the next day. Nothing phases me on Thursdays anymore.

Okay, must put on boots and wait for Payback to arrive. I'll report back later.

You'd better live. You're supposed to move here, remember? You'll see more of me than anyone could possibly bear.
I'm sorry I didn't get to meet up with you. We were on a tactical mission of shop and destroy. Plus, we got lost a lot - it would have been painful waiting for us ;)

HA!!! HA!!! HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I govern you. My mind governs your mind.

I'm the boss of you.

Or something.

Now, to test the limits of my control... listen to a bunch of Noisex when you return from NoVa.

The DJs tooks pills to stay awake for seven days the DJs tooks pills to stay awake for seven days the DJs... tooks pills...

...and... midnight, Newcomb Hall Basement Theater... The Warrior And The Princess, directed by that guy who directed Run Lola Run and starring that girl who was in Run Lola Run... $2.50 or $3.00... I'm goin'. Front and center... or front and right, at least.

"You're not the boss of me!"

DAMMIT!!!! Got your comment at 0015 hours and that means I don't get to see the movie.
Also tried to look for some of your CD recommendations while in NoVa... no go. Guess I'll be doing some ordering online. Good for me. Luckily I came home with plenty of cash left over. New music for Xiane, just not as quickly as I'd like.

It was a very good film, too. Lots of foreshadowing and cross-referencing... And like Run Lola Run damn near every second of the film is connected to another part, somehow, some way.

That list (I'm not even sure what I put on it) was hastily made in a drunken stupor. If you'd like a more concrete list I can make a top ten list of my recent purchases, or something. I'm not suprised that you didn't find it in stores in Va... let me guess, you went to the Alexandria Tower Records? Don't buy the hype. The only reason to go there is a 3 hour road trip. I've stopped trying stores in Richmond, Staunton, Alexandria, wherever... and I just drive to the middle of nowhere when I want a road trip. Seriously.
