In my wanderings for Xiane Day, I meanderededed first to Wal-Mart, in search of leggings and perhaps some new tops to make me smile and feel a bit better about the state of my wardrobe. Those of the Junior-sized persuasion, there are some nice gothy-style tops there, and MILLIONS of hoodies, y'all. Leggings were a tad harder to locate; I finally found ones that are more like longjohns than leggings, in the Lingerie dep't. I bought two packs, because I know me, I'll just wear them out. They go up to 2x, those who care! I wandered around the store aimlessly for a while, looking at things that should have interested me. Their cosmetics section looks atrocious, damaged and messy. Shame on them.
Hopped on another bus, then the 1 to Pantops, and stopped off first at Fashion Cents.

Oh. My.

Let's just say that I bought a stompy rivety-cargo skirt with grommets and straps and the like... for $14. O_o Wow! They also had a cool pieced, fluttery gothic type skirt that I should have gone ahead and purchased, too. That was in plus size, and in the regular sizes, LOTS of tradgoth style tops and bottoms. Nice! Not expensive, either, which is why I like buying club clothes from places like that. Doesn't matter if the quality isn't so hot, because you're not paying tons for it! Oh, they also had some kickass bondage-belt type things, and nice boots.
Roses was the next stop, and if fake leather/vinyl pants, skirts, and pvc jackets are your thing, you can pick 'em up for $7 each! I was walking around with my mouth open like a dingus. No one noticed, though, because it's Roses, where even the intellectually challenged can dress for less. Tons of crap was on sale, but that was the find worth mentioning there. Don't even bother going to their Halloween section: it SUCKS.

Other than that, Ekerds or however you spell it was wretched in their makeup selection, bus drivers should know better than to conduct cell phone calls about their other jobs while driving the bus, and I'm not particularly fulfilled from the outcome of Xiane Day. Other stuff is going on that is really unfuckingcool [not with me directly], and I'm just... restless. Blah.

Tomorrow, flyering! I'm thinking we should gather at 7:30 at Starbucks. I was going to suggest earlier, but I don't feel like rushing around. Yeah. Let's have some fucking fun tomorrow.

Hmm. Let me see if I can at least get Miss krasota to take a pic of me in the skirt tomorrow, for modeling [and wearing!] purposes. I have the crappy webcam of doom and that is all.

You can do a LOT with a crappy webcam. I used to - I made it my goal to push the webcam to the limits of its creativity, and then I discovered it has a distinct advantage that cannot be replicated by either my phonecam or my spiff digital camera. Exploit! Exploit!

I love when people do that! mbickers made me a very cool pillow from what I think was a child's Halloween shirt like that: a mummy, with a zipper where the mouth is. I love it to bits!

I love love love love love Fashion Cents. There was a point in time that I did all my shopping there. :) There's a store that C'ville needs, it's called Cato. Now, there regularly priced stuff is too expensive, but they have TONS of clearance stuff, and big shoe sales and cute everything!! Fun FUn store, O it's Juniors and Plus size stuff too!
