Last night, you kicked my ass.

Sushi with [livejournal.com profile] briskpepper, Kevin Martin, and [livejournal.com profile] nothingoth, which was delicious... joined eventually by the usual suspects [the Haag family - who all have LJs now, by the by! - and a [livejournal.com profile] solieri in the vicinity too]... in fact, after about 8:30, I knew almost all the customers at The Rose. That's a weird thought, to know almost everyone in a restaurant.

I was really worried that we were going to have a crappy turnout - even though the Bella Morte show in Richmond was, unfortunately for those guys, cancelled due to lingering lack of power... also I was unsure of how many people wanted to leave their cozy post-storm homes... but people came out in droves! I took my post at the door before 10pm, getting an early start on things, and we had plenty of people coming in even then. We didn't sell out, but we were comfortably populated with people determined to have FUN. And oh yes, fun was had.

Of course Terminal Ready kicked ass. They were really "on" - full of energy, crowd sing-alongingness, and alcohol. Ian, their old bandmate, got up on stage and danced around and sang with Stu on "Cowboy". Tank showed male tit [a requsite part of any TR show]. There were some breast-baring ladies, some rock-n-roll, lots of dancing, and a good time all around. Many many people that I love showed up to the show, too many to list, which made me really happy. Henofer had a decent dancing crowd, which also makes me happy, as some of the regulars there aren't as partial to his preferred choice of music to spin. I only danced a wee bit, but I enjoyed his stuff.

I emerged dead on my feet, got a ride back to my place with the kind [livejournal.com profile] rat_bastard, then I passed the fuck out. Got up today and lazed around for a bit. Had pizza for breakfast - yum.
Tonight - SubShock, and preperations for the upcoming Fundraiser. Erk. AND I need to catch up on a LOT of things that I've let slack, some of which I'm really embarrassed to mention, so I won't. But if it effects you, and if it does than you know who you are already - I'm sorry that I'm a slack ass. I have GOT to stop allowing so many things to happen at once in my life. I just can't handle all of it at once, and YOU suffer. Sorry. :(

Love you all, and whee!

Love The Chris! WoOoOoOo!

Last night was tons -o- fun =^_^= I danced, a lot ... and I feel the effects of that this morning o.O Woo. I told Kristyne that dancing is how I would die. I'd be out on the floor, 80-some years old, with my walker, gettin' my groove on ... and my heart will go. I always did say I wear myself out too quickly ... What a good way to go though, eh? =P I might be back next weekend, too! I just have to confirm it with lady and make sure that she gets her nap time! 'Tis most important =) Yay for mini road trips with [livejournal.com profile] xymoxed!

Gah. I re-re. I forgot to ask you about something in my last comment ...

I'm not getting sub-shock out here anymore ... it's more like some jazz radio show or something fomr Sweet Briar college? I thought possibly they changed the time the show came on or something. I Don't know, trying to make sense of it ... Uh. My brain. So confused.

you thrive on the chaos Xiane... so many of us do.. we don't feel complete unless we are "going and doing"... busting our butts is pre-requisite to our feeling whole.. I worked 96 hours last week, will owrk close to that this week while djing for the SVD show on Tues and the regular night on Thursday... it looks like Penis Flytrap may be playing in Nov. and I will be the frontman for getting them loaded in and entertained... chaos and hectic time scheduling.. what else is there?
