Red flash of cardinal in the browning trees visible from my window... I look up, in awe.

I have been fascinated by the colours of the world of late, and what I take for granted until things change enough to force me to notice. I have felt lost and dreamy, which I blame a bit on the season, but I also sense things stirring inside, morphing into something I hope will only be rich and strange.
So much unrest this week. I wish I could pour my love like a balm on those I care for that I see hurting. I wish I knew what to do.
Things change, they always will.
