Hey, do you (or xiane, for that matter) want to be on the filter where I post pictures of the dolls that I make/customize/photograph? It's an opt-in filter, I don't have my default-view LJ friends on it because a lot of them aren't interested. No worries either way, but I like to ask, in case new friends *are* interested :>

I need to remember to ask about Dorian's contact info, too -- I didn't see him on Sunday in order to exchange info.

Anyway -- I had a total blast at BaltiCon, and very much enjoyed meeting all of you -- I'd love to stay in touch!

Am I going to be tempted to start buying dollies? [ha, I already am, I just don't know where to start nor how I would afford it, hehee.]

I love dollies and crafts of all sorts. I put you on all my filters including my girlie one, so let me know if you want off of anything.

For me, affordability-wise, it's just been a matter of priorities -- I used to spend a fair amount of money on clothes and shoes, and I'm trying to minimize new purchases until I can lose some weight (because of my illness, I've been a yo-yo weight-wise . . . from 180 to 148 to 200 all in the space of two-and-a-half years), because I *have* clothes, they just don't *fit* me right now. Bah!

But, yeah, I used to spend more money on clothes and Nice Boots and coffee at Starbuck's and buying bagels at Einstein's . . . now, I put that same money aside into a little dolly-fund. This doesn't mean that I don't occasionally buy nice stuff for myself, just that it's easier to spend $400 on a piece of beautiful art when I realize that I'd have spent the same amount in a month or two frittering it away on little things that wouldn't make as much of an impact. Plus, I don't use credit cards, so I actually have to save up the money in cash to spend it -- which keeps my grabby packrat-collector impulses in check ;)

I really only have a doll-filter in terms of exclusionary filters, so you're on all of mine as well ^-^

Hmmm...I'm not much into dolls (except scary monster action figures and plushies), but I'm curious to see what you've created. Do you have them posted on a website?

Dorian's LJ is fullmoonjester . He doesn't post much though, and I suspect he doesn't read it much either. He gets on AIM, but I'd want to check with him before I gave out his screen-name.

Yeah, I'd like to stay in touch. I probably won't be on much until after my move though, which is in a couple weeks.
